The rehabilitation institution working for the therapy, treatment, and empowerment of children with disabilities organized a health check-up camp for special children at the PUNARBASA Child Therapy Centre, Madhapur, Kendrapara.

Dr. Swagat Das, Paediatric Specialist at the Kendrapara District Head Hospital, examined the health condition of 28 special child beneficiaries receiving various therapeutic interventions at the centre and provided necessary medical advice and guidance.

The camp enabled children with autism, cerebral palsy, and intellectual disabilities to receive specialised paediatric consultation at one place along with therapeutic support and follow-up advice from the therapy centre staff.

Physiotherapists measured the height and weight of the children, while occupational therapists and support staff of the institution extended major support in conducting the camp smoothly

Deputy Manager of Reproductive and Child Health (RCH) of the District Head Hospital, Sujar Pradhan, was also present on the occasion.

The rehabilitation team expressed gratitude to Dr. Swagat Das for his valuable service and also thanked the Administrative Officer of the District Head Hospital, Dilip Kumar Nayak, for his support and cooperation.
